Just wanted to say hey to everyone. My name is John, and I live in Tennessee. Been smoking for about a year and a half. Currently using a charcoal Brinkmann, yep the cheapo, but its always performed well. I also like to grow peppers. Love hot and spicy foods. Stumbled across this site one day, and its been in the favorites list ever since. Thanks for all the info that everyone shares. Gotta love this site.

Hello John and welcome to the SMF. You'll find plenty of friendly help here to advance your smokin' pleasure.

I also love spicy foods, rubs and peppers.

Welcome aboard! Check out the garden section and update us on what you have planted...my hubby is a hot pepper freak, we have over 50 hot pepper plants this year! There is sooo much info on this site...

Hey thanks for the welcome everyone. And Shellbellc thanks for the garden forum info. 50 plants is a lot. All I've got is a deck to grow on. This year I've got biker billy jalapenos, white bullet habaneros, peter reds, carolina cayennes, peperoncinis, a datil plant, and supposedly the world's hottest - bhut jolokia......about 20 plants all together.
