I never thought it would be this hard to become a Smoker!!!

I've just returned my 4th propane smoker! 1 Defective/3 Damaged by Shipper. Buying via the internet hasn't been fun, but I can't seem to find a decent sized propane smoker at an Atlanta area store. I'm 6 months into my 1st smoker purchase and I still don't have one that works!

I don't know what my next move is, but I vow not to quit 'til there is smoke in the air!

Like I said on the other post DON'T give up hope, and welcome to SMF. We all feel for you, and will have turning out some good Q shortly.

A Big SOUTHERNLY (used to live down south) welcome to SMF! Must you have a gasser? If you're settled on one, then by all means get one. But, there are many others on the market. Not giving up is the important thing. You'll find the smoker of your dreams!

Again, welcome aboard!

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. Hope your luck turns around soon, and welcome to SMF.

Beebeque,
Hang in there! The end result is worth the hassle. And a hearty welcome to the SMF. I have spent the last 30+ years in Atlanta (Covington area). We still have our house there but also have a place just west of PC, Fl (Seagrove Beach). We spend most of our time at the beach but migrate back and forth from time to time. What area are you from?
Again, welcome to the SMF. It's cram packed full of great people and an awfully lot of experience. Let us hear from you often.

Hello and welcome to the SMF. I've been there and done that with items arriving damaged in shipping. Sooner or later someone will get it right, and you'll be on your way to some memorable smokes.

I love that area around Santa Rosa Beach, I stay at Topsail State Park with
my Motorhome all the time.

If you're into the propane, I got a BBQ Grillware Vertical Smoker from Lowe's and so far it's been great. For some reason they don't show up on their website. Here's a thread that talks a lot about them though...

Welcome and feel free to ask any questions that come to mind! Be sure to keep everyone up to date on your experiences too
