Well it has been at least 8 months since I bought a smoker and it is time again.

I just bought a small enclosed trailer and none of my smokers will fit because they are too tall.

So I am in the market for a horizontal charcoal smoker.

Any suggestions?

Ever thought of a WSM? As you probably know, it comes in 3 sections so its "take apartable" (is that even a word?

).

Thought about it but really want a smoker that I can put alot of meat on at one time in case I want to cook for a larger group. I like the way you think though

the brink smoke n pit. it holds a lot and it's reasonably inexpensive. but if ya got the dough- i'm dreaming about this. http://www.brinkmann.net/Shop/Detail...-1001-E&id=296

Looking for something that is not so tall so that it will fit into the trailer. This one looks too tall

i was being facetious- the $1800 price tag plus freight... but the smoke n grill isn't too tall. how tall is the trailer ?

i will have to measure it but I believe it is around 4 feet to 4.5 feet tall

i just measured the pit. it's 4' 2.5" tall(but the stack comes off leaving it about 3ft 10" and the length is 61" ttl.
