Hubby has the comp this weekend. It's at a friends house, it's just for bragging rights, and only men are allowed to cook.

I think I'm the only female complaining!!! Last year he took the big grill and the sparky (our little electric one). This year he just taking the King Kooker. Tonight he's going to rub the meat down and back in the fridge. Saturday morning he'll be up at the crack to run up and put the shoulders on, then closer to lunch he'll put the ribs on.

The boy is doing Dutch's Maple glazed Salmon, it was a big hit last year so we'll do the same this year. I got two fillets, so we'll do one maple and one with a light teriyaki and then glaze it with pineapple preserves...I will be doing pics for your eye candy.

Well that sounds like a blast! How many guys are competing? hope you take lots of pics and tell the ol' man good luck, make us proud

There will be about 20 guys competing. Last year the menu was sooo spread out, moose roast, moose jerky, deer kabobs, rack of lamb, salmon, blue fish, grilled clams casino, stuffed pork loin, smoked roast beef, pork ribs, abt's, barbecued chicken, some kind of chicken in a peanut sauce, then all the sides! That isn't even everything, it's just a day that you need to have your appetite handy!

My appetite is always handy. Sounds like a lot of good eats. Hope you all have fun with it.
