I wanted to do a few butts this weekend, but once again, Sam's didn't have any. I did pick up a 9 lb. tenderloin and 4.5 lb. sirloin tip. I have never smoked a tip before, so I was wondering what temp to cook it to for the best results.

I will also smoke a few slabs of baby backs and probably a cabbage.

Sounds like your gonna have some good eating there Wes. I'm thinking on that sirloin tip maybe around 160* that should be around medium.

That's the plan for the tenderloin. I just wan't sure on the best way to do the tip. I'll try to post some pics later.

i have a 5# er on the grill rottissere right now i'm going to take it to 170 then rest for an hour in the lunch bucket
