I just planted 4 grape vines the other day. 2 Reliance and 2 Edelwiess. Does anyone have any suggestions on helping them grow good.

Do not plant them near pine trees they don't like pines.

Keep the canes trimed shorter and you'll get better grapes.

Pick two or three good runners and let them grow trim all the others off.

As soon as they start to run attach them to your trellis if you plan to have one.

Plant them about 8 to 10 feet apart.

Grapes like sour soil use lime in the spring.

Spray with 1 ounce of dish soap and 1 gallon of water to keep pests down.

A grape  is a fruiting berry of the deciduous woody vines of the botanical genus Vitis. Grapes can be eaten raw or they can be used for making wine, jam, juice, jelly, grape seed extract, raisins, vinegar, and grape seed oil. Grapes are a non-climacteric type of fruit, generally occurring in clusters
