yo dutch,
i have had the pleasure of eating at goodes place
many times.

his brisket is among the best.
but texas is loaded with really good brisket joints.

in my opinion ,
his sauce,
is the best of the best on beef.

i haven't tried them all.
so im not trying to get a war started.

but until somebody Beats it,
hes my brisket King.

ok you folks ---im from missouri--so SHOW ME.

Larry Joe, the sauce recipe that you want-it different than the BBQ Mop in the link? Or is more of a BBQ sauce?

yo dutch,
its more like regular tomatoe based sauce.

i think his mop [but i dont know]
is used for basting.

i also think he catches some drippings
and adds a little to the sauce.

this sauce comes WET stlye[on the meat]
or dry style[served on side]

i preferred mine on the side.
you could drench and drown the meat if you wanted to.

i liked it drowned at goodes.
