I have a Jim Bowie wifi, that I've had for about a year. I've had a few problems with it that they took care of promptly, including a bad wifi controller, and bad igniter. Now I've been having issues with maintaining a constant temperature, I'm using firmware 6.5.1 I've now ruined a brisket and pork picnic on it. I've tried adjusting the heat deflector, adjusted the offset in the app to the max (+50 on the 500 setting and +20 on the 150 setiting) and it is still running extremely hot. Right now, I have it set to 150 degrees and my maverick is reading the grill temp at 245. I put a18lb brisket on last night and woke up to a charred brisket only 5 hours later. On my maverick I have seen it jump up to as high as 335 while being set at the minimum setting of 150 with it only being 60 degrees outside. I was curious if anyone else has been having issues with there's like this and what the fix has been. Still waiting for a reply from gmg support.
