So I told my wife last year that I wanted to build a European-style brick smoker in our backyard.  I began the project, and then as I read and learned more on here and other sites, it "blossomed" into something much more than I had ever imagined.  This will be a photo-heavy journey of the project... enjoy!!

Adam, what sort of pizza oven kit did you buy for this project? I am in the middle of my own build, and had planned on home-building everything, but the kit really looks nice, and it is surely a lot faster to deal with.

Thanks!

I did lots of research before purchasing. My wife is the one into pizzas. I was going to purchase a Forno Bravo kit, but they don't really offer much customer service (although they have a great message board forum). I went with Fogazzo, because the owner Sergio worked with my on my plans and ideas. He was great along the way. Not perfect, but great. Look up Fogazzo. Also try Grill n Ovens .com

At this point we decided we wanted to cover the structure. In hindsight, we should've constructed this prior to the structure below to allow for more flexibility. After speaking with several local contractors and hearing way too high prices, we went with a pavilion kit. We searched many like the photos below -

This was a start to framing the left side of the outdoor kitchen structure - plans were for a fridge and sink.

I've been trying to upload many more photos at a time, but I am unable to due to this forum. I know this site just got updated, what gives? I'm on many online forums and this is by far the worst for uploading content. I cannot even get 2 photos to upload at once, it only does one at a time and takes a few minutes just to load one at a time.

This is a photo of the birth of the smoker....
