Hi! I am planning to build a wooden smoke house in my parents house in the end of the year, but I alrady started doing some research. I found some pretty interesting info but most of the designs I saw used western cedar or other american woods. Since I live in Brazil, I can't find these types of wood, and it's not very useful to ask what kinds of wood I should use in my build, because whatever you suggest won't be available here, so I decided to ask what kinds of wood I CAN'T use.

If it is of any help, some woods I usually use in my projects are:

Ipê (http://www.wood-database.com/ipe/)

Imbuia  (http://www.wood-database.com/imbuia/)

Spanish Cedar  (http://www.wood-database.com/spanish-cedar/)

Pinus  (http://www.wood-database.com/slash-pine/)

Thank you very much in advance!

any woods that are treated are immediately off the list.

are you planning on lining the inside with anything or will it be all wood?  If all wood I would avoid any strong smelling varities that have saps in them but I really cant say for sure.  I would think that after a few long smoke sessions that the oils in your smoke would seal the inside of your smoker against most natural nasties that you might have in any wood you would choose,  but I will defer to others experience on that for sure.
