I don't fire up the ole MES 30 much anymore since I built the Mini WSM. That mini gets ribs about every week.
Today I'm smoking a pot of green beans and taters with some carrots, onions, celery, garlic, and ham thrown in. I got the chicken smoking over the pot, so the drippins' can add a another layer of flavor to them green beans. Looks like this might be the last go around for my green beans out of the garden.
Dusted the chicken with ButtRub and I am using dogwood and crape myrtle sticks I picked up out of the yard for smoke. I little charcoal in the pan helps too. :grilling_smilie:
I also brined the bird overnight in a mix of Italian dressing and Dales. Ohhh yeahhh!

I like what Italian dressing does in a marinade.  I also been adding it to my sauce recipe for years now.  Good looking breasts there brother, and I'm sure the beans are awesome !!
