We left FT Pierce, S, FL on Wed for N, GA to our daughters. Normally it takes 7 hours. This trip took us 17.5 hrs. Had food, water, pups, important papers, comps, guns but we made it.

Hope y'all in FL who stayed are going to be safe.

Will we have a 5th wheel when we get back? 50/50. The resort managers told us not to come back until they call us. If Irma want it she can have it, one less thing to sell before we go to Germany.

Everyone be safe and try to keep in contact.

Nepas, glad you made it safe. My daughter lives about an hour outside of Atlanta, and we're worried. Looks like the storm may travel through GA as well. Be safe.

Glad you made it ok!  My wife's sister and  niece are in Englewood, north of Sarasota and are riding it out.  We begged them to come here and stay with us, but no go; they think they can ride it out like they did all the others.  Had they left Sunday, we'd all be hung over today...

From the latest tracks, it looks like you will be OK, Rick!

But then nobody really knows where this thing is going until it makes the turn.

I may have some problems, but we are all prepared & I just got back from the liquor store.

So I'm ready for Irma!
