Everyone knows how to cook ribs, I am just boasting about getting to eat some tonight!! No foil used. Happy happy spare ribs, no cutting or triming just juicy, tender, and had that just right bite that everyone loves!

Oh yeah baby!

Right off the pit!

The flap underneath, when I tryed to slice 'em fell off, so in observance of the 3 min. rule took care of it.

I made a pot of BBQ sauce this last week and didn't even use any. Nothing there but pork, fat, salt & pepper, butter and apple cider vinegar! TWANG! Mostest excellent ribs. I didn't even pull the membrane, this is old school ribs, OMG good! Man I used to make a bunch of these...... I sure miss those days.

Cryo carried 3 in it, and the weekend is almost on us, and I had planned grill hot-dogs since I made chili last week....... Decisions decisions!

You do not need fancy or gimmicks to make great ribs, So did I make you hungry?  Then my job here is done.....LOL

Foamy, my friend, you started my tummy rumbling.  We both make ribs exactly the same way.  I've been trying to use up what I have out in the freezer, which doesn't include ribs, but I just might have to go get some now.  OH, wait!  The kids are coming home next weekend.  Perfect time for ribs!   Thanks for setting the main dish on the menu!

Your ribs look fantastic Kevin!

The only thing about taking a direct hit from Irma would be no electricity & I would have to grill or smoke all our meals.

And ribs would certainly be on the menu!!!

Point!

Al, I have been thru more than my fair share of hurricanes and ya always lose the electricity first. That means the freezers start thawing, they are only good for 3 to 7 days without power (depending upon the age of the unit), ALL the best cooking happens after the hurricanes.....LOL  Plus all the ice chests, just seems natural to get some long necks in them....LOL

Ya know we always noticed that all the best fishing happens the day after it passes. It presses all the salt water up into delta driving the fresh water back. Yje salt water fish are enjoying the new bounty of groceries.  After, either Hilda, Betsy or Camille We went red fishing. buddies boat had 2 each 100 gallon chests and we filled both completely up with bull reds! in one morning!  We went back to school and drove around drinking and giving folks fish. I never saw so many fish in so short a time, and you know how reds group up.

EDIT, sorry got to talkin and forgot to say thank you. So Thank you....

Thanks Richie

Better be careful going down in Georgia. They sometimes use some strange "yellar" BBQ sauce. I hope ya going down fishing, ya saw what I told  Al about. Don'tcha notice that after a hurricane the fish go into a feeding frenzy? You need baseball bats to keep the fish from jumping in the boat!

Got to start this off right man o man what a great looking meal I mean who don't like ribs and who don't like sweet taters with them and for sure home grewn tomatoes. Now that's what you call eating.

Probably a really wise choice on your part man. You wouldn't really like that yellar BBQ sauce......LOL

You know most folks, my Pop and myself included lose sensitivity in the taste buds with age. Sorta sux. All these things I cooks don't taste nearly as good as the used too. Pop laughs and says just wait.

I worked on my MES40 this week, I gotta get some andouille and sausage made, but its still too hot. Although it does not seem hot at all this week, Hurricanes always bring and leave pretty weather for a few days.

Nice plate! Waiting for a Rib sale out here. Got a taste for 'em big time....JJ

Looks fabulous my friend. I just made some last week. First time getting to eat some in months.

Thanks for sharing with us.

Thank you Thank you.........

Problem here is Spares are getting hard to find. Everyone everywhere has baby-backs or St.Louis cut, but the just plain ole spareribs are getting hard to come by.

Always a pleasure.
