Hiya gang!
I just wanted to share this weekends tomfoolery on the CC pellet grill. We had ribs at a very good price and grabbed four racks. Usual bbq rub and sat bare overnight in the fridge to set up, then on the grill they went.
I decided to leave a few unfoiled to see how they compared at the end of the cook.
Last tme I grilled we did some more cured turkey legs and I threw together a glaze made from a quick home made teriyaki, some pineapple mango jam made and sold locally at a nearby farmers market, along with a bit of honey and pineapple juice strained from a batch of Dutch's baked beans. The legs came out great, and my wife, lover of all things sweet demanded a pork trial. I nary argue with the missus and it was an excuse to make more beans
.
Teriyaki ribs on the left, with a bit of sesame seed in the glaze after it reduced, It was sticky gooey heaven. The savory from regular rib rub complimented it very well.
These made the "good" kind of mess, glaze and drippings everywhere :)
Sunday I get to break diet and have some fried stuff once in a few weekends, plated with O rings, home made poppers, straw fries and beans. I had a few of both ribs on here, but we fought over the rest of the teriyaki ribs after first plates were finished.
Thanks for reading and peeking!
