Hello all! I'm joining you from Northwest Territories in Canada. I just ordered a Dyna-Glo 36" gas smoker and am waiting, quite impatiently might I add, for it to be delivered. I've been doing BBQ on my regular gas grill using Inderict heat and wood chip packets on the lit burner. We've enjoyed a smoked turkey, smoker pork shoulder, ribs, etc. They were all delicious! However, so time consuming to be adding wood packets every 20 mins or so. We love barbecue and figured, heck, why not just buy a smoker! Now I have to try and figure out how these things work and how best to cook each meat in there. This site seems to be chalked full of helpful information and knowledgeable people so, figure I'd join and see what I can learn.
