Hi ya'll!
Been a while. Anyone know of a good Cuban style whole hog catering company in the Tampa Bay area? I'm not looking for a smoked hog, but rather your traditional Cuban style hog (la caja china cook) for my son's 1 year old birthday party (lets face it, it will be an adult party). We would be looking for a company that will come set up, cook the piggie, rice, beans, plantains, and clean up.
I supplied the food for my daughter's 1 year party and it was just too much for me and I really didn't enjoy myself. I smoked 4 butts, 2 briskets, etc. I was up all night and felt like zombie come party time. I would prefer to just sit back, drink some cervesas and watch some local masters cook up some solid Cuban food that I love.
Party will be late October so looking to start working with someone soon.
