Registered this morning after once again finding this group's forums invaluable. I run a Chargriller with SFB, sealed together with some high temp red silicone I got off Amazon from Lava lock. I've got the smokestack outlet lowered to meat level with 3 inch dryer vent, two guages added at each end of the lid at meat level, and some flat sealing gasket likewise obtained from Amazon on the SFB to help seal that lid. I use temporary rolled aluminum foil gaskets on the rear and side gaps of the smoking chamber and weigh down both lids with some landscaping border concrete blocks to tighten it up.
I basically learned all those mods from your forums, so thought I ought to join and contribute!
