Hey. Ran across this forum today, figured I would give it a shot.

I first started smoking about 2 years ago with a chargriller offset. First year was kind of trial and error, but I finally hit a point where

the food comes out perfect every time. Over the last 6 or so months I have had friends and people at work ask if I would be interested in cooking for their parties of get together's, so I am looking to upgrade to a level where that would be more manageable with the ability to expand a bit.

Have been looking at sizes for a while (on trailer) and I think I would like to go with something in the 250gal range with 300gal being the max. Everything I have seen on craigslist seems to be overpriced rusted out junk so I am looking to buy new. Have seen quite a few recommendations for Lang smokers out of Georgia which is only about a 5 hours drive from me. Would like to know if anyone around here knows of or could recommend any other options/dealers that are near the area. Have seen a couple local ads such as Daves Customs out of Gibsonton, but I am really hesitant on a lot of them. Want to make sure I am getting something good if I am putting down that kind of money. Any tips would be appreciated.

Moose87, welcome to SMF!  Glad you are here and looking for answers.  Roll call is just for saying "hi" basically, so ask your question over in the stick burner section to get more response.

Enjoy the forum!
