Hello from Oregon! My name is Chad, and I'm getting more serious about back yard smoking. I've done several cooks on my trusty Weber Performer, and loads of meat has met its maker via my Auber PID controlled Bradley.

I've recently added a Traeger Timberline 850 to my partio, and am really digging it. I really thought I was going to go with a Mak, as I haven't been impressed with Traegers for some time. Seems they really put some effort into this Timberline series though.

Anyhoo, I'll be cruising around here. Looking for info to gain, as well as share.

A little about me: I am a husband of 19 years and proud father of 4 kids. In my early 40s, and make my living as an estimator and sales guy for a fire sprinkler system contractor. I've been with them for 22 years, and am a volunteer firefighter in my off time. I spend as much time as I can fishing off of the Oregon coast for salmon, halibut, tuna, lingcod, and Dungeness crab.
