Hello all. I'm in northeast Indiana and have been smoking for the last handful of years. I have a barrel charcoal grill, electric masterbuilt, and just did a whole hog with a concrete block pit I made in my backyard.
I'm looking for some help with the concrete block pit and how to best monitor the pit temp. I am open to ideas.
The pit is made with 8x16 blocks. Cooking area is 24" wide x 48" long.
