Brisket I did today on the ole Weber gas grill

Kroger had briskets? No kroger here has ever had brisket unless it's corned beef. Hmm.. nice. Michigan Kroger doesn't carry brisket.. just corned beef brisket.
 
Geeze man.. that ridiculously cheap.. yeah.. they don't even sell it here around Detroit area. And we have hundreds of Kroger stores.

Well. Your a lucky person to get one that cheap.

We went for ice cream and I made a loop through the meat section and saw Choice briskets for $1.49/lb and persuaded my wife to get one. Was pretty nice to see $33 come off of the price at the end.
 
The only brisqet Kroger has around here is just the flat. I have to go to GFS or Costco to get a packer (Wally World sometimes carrys them), but I've never seen them that cheap!
 
There's still Kroger's in Michigan? Not around me Fred and the boys ran them outta town. GFS and Costco are the only places I get them.
 
Thanks Al! Feel like I have a good handle on pork butts but need a bit more practice on briskets. The whole family was happy about how it came out.
