I'm a new member, but long time lurker on these forums. As my profile shows I'm a classically trained chef in the french persuasion but after a few years in the kitchen I burned out.. I currently hold degrees in food science, chemistry, welding fabrication, and small business management. I own my own auto repair shop in Harrisburg Pennsylvania. Yeah, I know it's all over the place but that's how I like to live. Over the last 10 years I've taught myself how to cook some pretty killer Q on the POS COS my wife bought me for my birthday (I have heavily modified it and it cooks like a boss). Only thing I can't cook that I'm proud of is a brisket, and Ill hopefully figure that out soon. You will see me soon on the build forums as I'm going for my first scratch build smoker and I'll need some advice I'm sure.
