I'm sorry if this is a common question or easily answered, but the search function doesn't appear to be working on my browser for some reason.

So, my question seems pretty straight-forward: Is Snake River Farms worth the premium price?

I'm curious as they're about the only distributor of Wagyu beef I've found (and I'm insanely curious as to how it tastes compared to what I've had before).

I'm also a little anxious about spending that kind of money and messing it up. lol

Appreciate any input you folks can provide!

I can't answer as to Wagyu, I've never tried it. Whether it's worth the price seems pretty subjective to me. I guess it just depends on how much you normally fork over for high quality meat.

But I have bought some prime roasts and kurobuta pork from them before, when they're on sale. It was very good quality. I can also say that their shipping and customer service is very good.

yes they are very legit  all the top BBQ  competition guys use Wagyu prob from them, its crazy expensive but worth the price. for a special occasion or just to try it once go for it!   creekstone farms and 44 farms also serve prime Angus  briskets that are amazing.  Franklin BBQ  from what i gather  gets all its briskets from creekstone  they have a line there just for them from what ive read

It is a little daunting to see even their lower-priced RR Ranch 16oz Ribeye costing for one what I paid for 4 previously.  lol

Let alone their 8oz Wagyu Ribeye Filets.

The US  Wagyu isn't really true full blooded Wagyu. Its is bred with Angus cattle.
