So pretty happy...added more charcoal a few hours ago...let the temp settle back in and went to dinner...gone about an hour and a half...came back and temp was exactly where it was when I left.
I don't usually leave when I'm smoking...not for fear of ruining what's in the smoker but out of fear of fire...but my daughter was here so...

I know this junk heap will outlast fresh batteries in a PartQ at 225 all day [emoji]128514[/emoji] it's dialed in great ..not sure about if it's cold outside though..

Mine all run a little cooler in the winter...a wind block and a welders blanket even them right out even at 20° outside...I'm not smoking when it's any colder out.

I think from 200 or 205 back to 170 to 175 is about 30 minutes rest.. give or take 15 minutes.. the hold in a good insulated cooler for a few hours sure helps.. I like that trick..

Yup... it's wrapped in foil a towel and in the cooler...I've held them for over six hours that way and had them over 160° when I pulled them.
