Hello everyone
I am in NY just north of NYC
I am new to smoking meat
My wife is a trained chef and has cures rubs and cooking under control I just needs to get the smoker
I am pretty handy so I built one
It is a smokebhouse with external box about 4-1/2' away
I am having a hard time to pull a draft and was wondering if anyone has suggestions
I am open to any advice since I have no experience smoking. Thanks again

I'm no builder & I'm sure one will chime in soon, but my question is.

Is the pipe from the firebox running uphill so the smoke will do the same?

I also don't see a chimney, do you have one?

Al

It has open soffits to vent out the top of house
And yes the pipe has about 6" of pitchbofer 5'
I think my inlet on box is to small
The pipe may be to small
And I have no idea what I am doing lol
