Hi Guys,
Just a quick post to show you the 'Jacobs Ladder' Beef Ribs I did on my UDS - 12th July 2017
I've been using my UDS for a couple of years now and this is definitely the best result I have ever had. This was a 2.5kg 'Jacobs Ladder' cut of Beef Ribs. I coated in a dry rub, ran the UDS at 250f using briquettes and some apple wood chunks, smoked the ribs for 3 hours, wrapped for 1.5 hours with some beef broth then removed from foil, basted with bbq sauce and back on the smoker for 45mins to set the sauce. There was a beautiful bark and a stunning smoke ring on these. Very happy with the result.
They were that tender and there was so much meat that I decided to just pull the bones away and slice into strips for everyone.
Pictures & Video below. Please check the video and watch in HD to see just how juicy they turned out! They were soooooooo good. Everyone at my party loved them and can't wait for me to do more!
