Hey Everyone!

I'm new here.  Glad I came across this forum, and hope I can get some good advice.

I have a 6 lb brisket flat in the smoker set at 225 degrees,  and it's been there for 16 hours with the temp stuck at 170 degrees.  I wrapped it around 150.

Not sure what I did wrong or if this is something that happens.  I hope this brisket isn't wasted.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Welcome to SMF!  I see you posted this in another post too. Same advice.  Take it out, chop it up, and use it for chili.  I've had some chuck cuts of meat that never got tender, but the smoky goodness makes great chili.

Hmm.. Welcome welcome...

I would be wondering that same thing.

Just in case, check your thermometer in ice water and boiling water. Should be like 32 and 210 or so.. good luck to ya. Have fun!
