Hey everyone,

New group member here. I live in Eugene, OR. I've been smoking for about ten years now. Started out using a good ol' ECB. Wife bought me a treager a couple of years ago.

Love smoking and just cooking in general. Pellet smokers really make it easy to enjoy some good flavor any night of the week. Not a pit master by any means but it's fun to get some good results without putting in all the effort you stick guys do. Feels kinda like cheating I guess. I smoke all your typical foods from wings and ABT's to butts, whole chickens, and ribs. Really want to give a brisket a try someday. That'll be my next big adventure.

Anyway, just wanted to say hi and thank you. I've enjoyed this site for a couple years now and looking forward to being a part of it.

Thanks again, Travis

Travis, welcome to SMF!  Glad you are here and bringing the experience with you.  Absolutely nothing wrong with a pellet pooper.  Lots of folks use them here.  And no reason to fear the brisket.  All it takes is meat, heat, rub, smoke, and time.  Patience is the key.  You'll nail it on your first attempt.

Enjoy the forum!
