Well I have Gotten some spare cash and time to work on the smoker again. From my cook last October I realized that the trailer I used is not strong enough for my smoker.

I fixed this by beefing up the tounge and front section of the trailer with 3x3x1/4 angle I had laying around. I also painted the smoker and upgraded from a 2000lb axle to a 3500lb axle and heaver slipper springs(2250lb cap).

And with yesterday being the 4th I thought it would be fitting to do some more smoker trials. 6 racks of ribs, 8 pork chops, 1.5lb of shrimp. I do need to add some expanded metal to the fire grate to keep my coals from falling through to the bottom. Held temp great and used very little wood for the 4 hours I was running it

If you look towards the front of the trailer you can see the bottle opener and cap catcher a must for every outdoor gathering
