I happened along this site when I was looking to see what kinda of mods I could do to my offset. Within a day I joined, knowing that I was in the right forum to read and learn. I haven't needed to post any questions because all my questions have been asked and the advice has been great!

So I felt compelled to send a big THANK YOU to those forum members that give out top notch advice and a kind of moral support to us newbies.

Thank you,
SteveMc

Thanks. I think meat pics are like baby pics. They all look good!

I have already posted in there and received a couple nice welcomes.

Nice, looking forward to more meat pics lol, What are you thinking for your next project?

Just bought another trailblazer from a friend, thinking I was going to part it out for my other one. Gentleman thought he had a rod knock and that the engine was going. Upon inspecting it,I told him that engine was fine and that he just had a loose part somewhere.(ended up being the heat shields loose) He said it was going to junkyard no matter what and so I bought it at that price.

I got a killer deal, so I told him he has some smoked meat coming his way.
So first will be hickory smoked salmon, taking a portion to make a spread, then finish up the remaining salmon to texture. That should last in fridge until I can get a pork butt brined(I like it brined for 36-40 hrs)/smoked and same for a brisket, as an additional thank you. Gonna be a busy week for the smoker.
