Hey I've been following this forum since I got my Masterbuilt Pro a few weeks ago. I cook outside 6 months of the year or more, even when it's raining. I have a Backyard Grill but before that I used only wood and charcoal. I think I qualify as a foodie, I have a small farm that I've been exploring growing/making food for the past 12 years, everything from having dairy goats and learning to make cheese, growing just about every vegetable outside and a few tropical edibles inside, poultry of every kind and recently expanded to pigs and sheep. As you can see I have a lot of experience with food but I'm still pretty new to using an real smoker. I've been doing pretty good thanks to lurking on this forum but figured it's time to join and say hello. Tonight I'm smoking a whole chicken, St. Louis ribs, potatoes and corn, on the grill I'm going to make some stuff mushrooms, bacon wrapped stuffed jalapeños and shrimp for all the dads (and their families) in my family (brothers, grandpas and misc dads). I'm a single mom of two so I love an excuse to cook for some hungry men. :-)

Happy Father's Day! To all the dads on here and I hope to learn everything I can about smoking. :-)

Welcome aboard Katie!

Sounds like you had a busy Father's Day!

Happy to have you join the group!
