Grill to accompany my Traeger - Kamado?

After some failed experiences with big box store electric smokers, I bought a Traeger and couldn't be happier with it.

BUT

Traeger don't sear and has some heat limitations when it comes to grilling.

So, what type of grill would you recommend to go with it - this may be better asked in a grill section, but I'm curious what other pellet smoker owners have done.

I like the convince of gas, but am leaning towards charcoal for the high heat I can get out of it.  Any thoughts on a kamado type grill?

You can't beat a good old Weber kettle.

Especially if you buy a Vortex to go along with it.

You can just about melt the lid with the heat it will put out.

Yep, the Kettle with the Vortex is an awesome setup.

I agree with the kettle as well! But will add the Cajun bandit rotisserie and ring are awesome add-ons. The Vortex is great as well! Then there's Oktoforks and the ribolator for more toys.

My Weber kettle keeps my Traeger Timberline 850 company on the patio!!!  Love them both.
