Im building a 160 gallon reverse flow, after punching numbers into feldons it gave me a opening measurment of 16.78..that just doesnt seem big enough and is that measurment side to side or bottom of the tank to the top of the cut

Looks like its side to side...so i may increase my numbers just a bit

I just ran the numbers with a 24" square. and the opening is 16.78 so I am guessing that is where you are.

The 16.78 is width and your height would be around 8" 3/8" tall. This will work if you are not going to use a grease bridge at the bottom but if you are going to add one then I would increase the opening by about 5 more square inches.

Sorry was in a hurry yesterday

Box is 24x24 stack is 6.25 id

Right now my opening is 22"w and about 5.25" tall.Going to open it up to about 8.5" tall.Grease drain will be added
