just got a new char broil digital with out window . what size chip do you use . when you use the temp probe do you also set the burner temp as well as meat temp
Just guessing here as I do not have your smoker. But I dare say that the standard chips available at most stores will work just fine if they are of high quality. As for the probe, you need to set the cook temp for the element and the desired internal temp for the meat such as a butt or a brisket. Don't bother on things like ribs and wings. Your manual should cover all this.
