I decided to make some baby backs today. Got home around midnight last night and then went to the store to pick up ribs and also some little potatoes. The baby backs are just under 4 pounds a rack and I bought two. After reading Al's post about no seasoning I decided to go light with the rub this time to see if I notice a difference as I usually rub them down pretty heavy. Im smoking at 225 ( well tryin to it's a little windy) with hickory, cherry and cowboy lump. Im going straight on the grates as usual.

Im also doing little potatoes, it's only my second time doing them first time they weren't the best. So I started off melting two sticks of kerry gold butter in a bowl. Added 1/2 cup of cider vinegar, 1/2 TBS of black pepper, 2 TBS Worcestershire, and 1 TBS season salt. Put potatoes in foil pan drizzled marinate on them mixed then up and put them in smoker trying to be done by 4pm today taters got put on at 4 so hopefully they will be done if not I'll nuke them.
