Hello From Southeast Michigan

This this is the intro post. I have some mod questions for my smoker. But first, my name is Jay, and I'm obviously from Michigan. Been cooking since around 2007 on an old Char-broil silver series I bought off a friend and restored when he moved out of state. Also have 22" kettle that I use sometimes for extra space or smaller cooks, and an old Weber Genesis Silver A that still looks and functions like new. The Weber is usually our daily dinner maker. Favorite books and recipes are anything by Steven Raichlen. Favorite woods are oak/apple or hickory/apple, with the occasional peach, pecan, or orange when I have it.

Not sure what else to tell. Is there a specific place I can start a thread to get some help with my mods? Mainly new gasket and latch issues.
