Hey everyone
Im mel from alberta long time smoker first time poster.
I started with a bradley then the charcoals then i picked up a coldsmoker and get to play with my friends big green egg alot. Now im ready to build a proper stick burner. Im a welder by trade so i cant justify someone else buiding it. Looking forward to.picking some brains and posting build pics as i go.

welcome  cant wait to see the build what are you making reverse flow  or just a traditional offset ?

Going to do a reverse flow with the water pan. Still digging around here for ideas i love this place! Hope my firebox is sufficent

nice !  yeah  i think there are some good threads in the  forums on the math for the right size  of firebox for the size of your smoker  in the smoker builds section
