I ordered some new high-temp probes from the flame boss website to replace the original probes. I'm using a vision kamado and Flame Boss 200.
Unfortunately without testing I threw a $50 brisket on to cook at 225. Like always I walked away trusting the flame boss to fonts job checking my phone occasionally to see how things were going and i noticed the stall was lasting an unusually long time. I ignored it assuming it was because I injected the brisket with beef broth(never done that before).
Eventually i caught on that the pit was closer to 150 than the 225 showing on the pit probe. Do you think the probe is bad? Do I need to calibrate somehow?
Thanks
Jake
