Just joined the gang and looking forward to lots of good eating! Limited smoking experience...mostly fish. This seemed like THE place to glean the knowledge of others. From S.E. Minnesota, Mississippi River Sturgeon, Buffalo, Carp and Brown and Brook trout. I have not smoked much meat, but am looking to change that with your help. Good Smoking!    Tetonka    SKOL VIKINGS!!
 
Hello and thank you. I just got home from trout fishing with 5 Brown trout from 13" to 20"! I am going again tomorrow morning and hope to catch 5 more. That 20" is going to be good eating! I've smoked off and on for years, mostly off. Just got a Char-Broil 40" electric smoker and love it so far. I had a trash can smoker I made that worked O.K., but decided to get a new one. Eventually, I am going to build the PERFECT smokehouse, but am going to have to design it first. That is where the information from this forum will be so important. So far, I've come up with MANY new ideas to try. Good luck in all your endeavors.  SKOL!   Tetonka
