Pork Butt Wednesday

I was going through the Freezer the Other day and saw I had 3 Pork Butts, So I pulled one out to thaw.

So today was the day.

Nothing Special Just some Pulled Pork.

Fired up the smoker at 6:00 AM using Pecan and Hickory.

Seasoned up Butt and on the Smoker by 6:30 Temp was at 275º

Just added splits every so often all day

Maintained 250 º to 275 º

Pulled Butt off at 5:00 PM 10.5 hours on the smoker No idea what the IT was

I just check the bone, wiggle it a little and if it feels loose and will come out clean

its ready.

I got some Pulled Pork here too. Bear Jr had a Picnic at his house for his Pool team, and he made 2 Butts on his Green Egg. I got some leftovers!!
