The list seems endless. Leggs--  The Sausage Maker has theirs----High Mountain--and on and on.

What are the chances of coming up with a consensus on the best?

I know everyone has different tastes and this may be an impossible question.

My Nephew has decided he wants to make 50 plus pounds of summer sausage and a bulk amount seems the way to go.

Just plain stuff ----no Jalapenos, cheese, lemons or mangoes.

I haven'y tried the others but have used LEM many times.  I think its a good taste and all that have tried it so far like it.  I will be trying others soon, but in small batches.  I have heard Leggs is really good.  Either way, good luck!

Lothar, I did LEM's summer sausage once in the oven (their cooking directions sucked) and it came out tasting like corned beef.

I don't have a problem with corned beef but I would have preferred it was called "corned beef" seasoning rather than summer sausage.

Did you experience the same thing or something similar to a corned beef flavor?
