Watch your local Wally World, this deal was not in any ad I could see... But I just went there with my daughter to pick up a few things & they had the Kingsford Blue Bag 15 lb twin packs for $7.88 So I'm stocked up for the summer. Just wanted to give y'all a heads up.

you really want to turn heads... buy a whole pallet.  I did that a few years ago and people really look at you like you are nuts. ( especially since most people in these parts use LP.)  I had to stop on the way home and everybody that walked by my pickup started laughing... until I told them later how much I saved.

a pallet would last me about a year back then,  now that I have gone to an UDS and all weber grills,  I dont use near as much since the cookers are so tight, about 25-30 bags is all I have been going through the last few years.  ( I also added a jumbo joe to the lineup so all the small suppers get cooked on that for even less coal used.)

Haha, we had 5 of the twin packs & a bag of RO lump. Still got stares, but maybe that was cause I also had a 30 pack of brewskies on top too. One lady said "looks like a party." LOL

And Lowes has the Royal Oak briquettes for only $4/ 15 pound bag (works out to about 1 cent cheaper per pound than the kingsford.

Noboundaries just worked up a post testing the two against eachother: http://www.smokingmeatforums.com/t/...ttes-burn-temperature-time-and-ash-comparison

I stopped by Lowes last night and grabbed the bag limit they would allow on the RO. May stop by again tonight and grab the limit/ see if the cashier will ignore the limit unlike the last guy.
