Hey Y'all, I'm getting ready to smoke a3.8 lb pork butt roast for my first time with my Masterbuit pro what temperature should I aim for 225? and how long should I prepare for? 3-4 hours ? I'm trying to plan it against the rain that's coming haha!!!
That size should take about 1 - 1/2 hours per pound. Goal is to get the internal temp up to 200 - 205 degrees. It will be done when its done! Is there a bone in it? If so, when you can pull the bone out easily, it is done.
