A pack of duck and pork Loukanika sausages on the grill to celebrate spring finally arriving.

Roasted potatoes tossed with fresh garlic and parsley from the garden, finished with Parmesan, and Bloomsdale spinach from the garden sautéed in EVOO and a little garlic.

This was a nice little plate of food that went well with dining on the patio.

That all looks FANTASTIC!

Thank you, gentleman! I think this is the best sausage I've done. There's a lot of complexity, but nothing dominates. As I've said before, I think duck and pork is a great combination. I used Hank Shaw's recipe and added marjoram.

As for pictures, the wife of a good friend of mine is a professional food photographer. I looked at a couple dozen of her pictures and figured out some of the basics. Done right, a boiled shoe can look delicious. [emoji]128514[/emoji]

Dinner looks great, never tried any Duck
Richie

Thanks, Richie! You would never know there's duck in the sausage. When mixed 50/50 with pork, the duckiness goes away and there's an added depth to the overall flavor.

That is a fantastic looking meal!

Great job!

Al

Thank you, Al! We're creeping towards that time of the year where all meals are outside and much of the food comes from the garden.
