Hello fellow Smokers!!!!!

The names Chandler, from Plymouth, Michigan. Im a wrecker operator and welder/fabricator.

Ive been cooking, grilling, bbq'ing for most of my adult life and started when I was a kid.
Well my main hobby is welding so i was trying to build my own smoker but everytime i got my hands on a used comercial propane tank it was either rotted beyond repair or the price was to high.

I finally pulled the trigger on an Oklahoma Joe from my local Meijer. I saw alot of great info on here, I definitely got to get the RTV kit and seal this bad boy up before I even season it. It seems like a pretty stout box. Im quite excited.

Im also curious what mods do owners of this model or similar models reccomend.

Like I said I can weld and fab almost anything so if anyone has some tricks, tips or things that could improve my use of this box, I apprciate it.

Well thats a little about me. Thanks for having me on this page. I cant wait to start this awesome way of cooking up some tasty animals.[emoji]128512[/emoji]
