Whirl wind camp trip for a buddies birthday. Promised Tri tip for dinner. Utilizing the OctoForks I and my Sous chef cooked up the tip and some baked taters on the minitisserie in the woods!

Everything looks fantastic Case!

Where do you find these remote places to camp?

Or are there other campsites around you?

Either way it sure looks like a good time!

I have bad luck with potatoes not cooking at the same time as other things.  I woulda guessed the potato would take longer.

Where I live there's thousands of places to go get lost. No other campers near us. But there are a few other campsites near where we were.

There was a group of us though. It was a friends birthday. So we had three tent sites in our camp. We were all a thousand feet or so from each other...

I avoid civilized campgrounds as much as possible and dry camp when I can. This spot is one that we still don't have cell service. It's great, know one on the damn screen all day.

I'd imagine you had the TT facing the direction to come off first just in case.    Case the potatoes looked like they had no chance of falling off even if they were faced the opposite direction right?

They weren't going any where.

Yes I placed the TT on the short end of the stick. I would've removed the fork too.
