New champion smoker!

Hello fellow smokers! Please don't take my thread title as arrogant, I recently won a smoking contest the first time I entered one and found it funny so I used it as my intro! Won for pulled pork and the recipe with a few twists came from this sites forum! I competed at work and there were 12 entries, but a few of those guys do this in big contests all over so I was ecstatic with the win and the bragging rights! I took up smoking after my son-in-law passed and my daughter gave me his smoker knowing I loved when he smoked, I'll keep it till it can't go no more! It is a masterbuilt electric about 6 years old. Being from the KCMO area, we have great BBQ and I love to try to mimic some of the best BBQ around, I can get close, but a lot of these guys add secret little twists and I enjoy adding my own and hearing friend just gush with enjoyment as they eat it. The actual enjoyment for me is seeing others enjoy it so much. Well, nice to get involved here and I'll enjoy reading and commenting on the board, I go by Greek, be seeing you guys around.
