this is my first build. drawn in autocad and WaterJet cut with CNC bending. Material is mainly 3/16. Let me know what you think.
 
Nice clean build.

Here's what I would do to finish it off.

1./ Line the firebox with 1" thick firebricks.   You can secure them in place with bits of angle iron or flatbar.  (save you on wood)

2./ Use flatbar to make an X on the bottom of your main base plate and also on the inside of firebox door to stop it bending when hot.

3./ Make the firebox and main door 100% sealed.  Maybe use something like this https://goo.gl/8qWzox

Had A great first two smokes on this box! I think I will increase firebox vent, but other then that I am more then happy... and full!!
