Hello folks...

I need some ideas for building a smoker only using the following grills, smokers that I have.

1. Old Smokey

2. None working MasterBuilt Pro Electric Smoker

3. Gas Grill that needs new pan but functions

4. Charcoal water smoker.

(Keep in mind the only one I use 4 times week is the Old Smokey for beer chicken or similar things.)

I started with a couple of ideas but I think I have settled on one which I will explain below.

I want to use the none working Masterbuilt electric smoker, gut the inside and anything thats plastic like wires, temp box, etc. The opening where you would put the wood chips I'm going to use that hole to feed in pipe from a firebox.

The idea here is I can reuse and repurpose parts to make one. Considering the Masterbuild electric smoker has a glass door which holds in heat. The firebox I'm thinking about using either the old smokey or take apart the gas grill and use the top part for the firebox.

I attached the 4 pictures of the grills maybe we can come up with a good idea to reuse and repurpose what i have here. Moreover, I thought about stacking the Old Smokey on top of the Kingsford grill but I would run into it not being well insulated losing heat. The Masterbuilt is the only one I think that can hold in heat well enough. Also, the Masterbuilt from I can remember went up to around 275 degrees meaning the smoke coming in should not be a problem.

If you are wondering why I have 4 different grills the long/short story is; Masterbuilt stop working a year ago, so I purchase the Kingsford for Briskets about once a month the other I have collect over the years.
