Has anyone done an overnight cook on a Davy Crockett gmg grill? Wondering how the 9 lb hopper did for a 6 /7 hour unsupervised cook, till morning..

If you use the pellet consumption table as a guide, at 300F you'll use 7.7lbs for a 7 hour cook - and considerably less if you're cooking at 225F - probably less than 6lbs. Or course, ambient temps play a role.

Ya I figured about a pound a hour.. It's in upper 40s low 50s. I'm putting pork butt on at 11 pm. Have to check it around 5-6 in morning at 225
